{"id":62,"date":"2019-03-29T16:42:10","date_gmt":"2019-03-29T19:42:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eventos.lacigf.org\/?page_id=62"},"modified":"2019-03-29T16:42:10","modified_gmt":"2019-03-29T19:42:10","slug":"trustfund","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/eventos.lacigf.org\/en\/trustfund\/","title":{"rendered":"Trustfund"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The\nRegional Preparatory Meeting for the Internet Governance Forum (LACIGF) is the\nregional meeting space for multistakeholder political dialogue, where\ngovernment, private sector, technical community, and civil society\nrepresentatives share and discuss their various perspectives, which are then\ntaken to the global IGF as the voice of Latin America and the Caribbean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LACNIC has\nthe role of Program Committee Secretariat, as part of which it is responsible\nfor seeking contributions to the&nbsp;<strong>Trustfund<\/strong>, a key resource that\nallows all sectors to participate in the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nLACIGF&nbsp;<strong>Trustfund<\/strong>&nbsp;receives voluntary contributions from\ncompanies and organizations and is managed by the Secretariat to fund event\nlogistics, including conference rooms, audiovisual support, simultaneous\ninterpretation, streaming, support staff, catering, communication and dissemination\nmaterials, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It also\nfunds the Sponsorship Program, which allows the participation of a large group\nof people from around the region who would otherwise not be able to attend each\nevent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For all of\nthe above, we would like to extend a cordial invitation to contribute to the\nLACIGF Trust Fund.
