The Internet Governance Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean is pleased to announce the launch of the pre-registration form for the 17th edition of the Forum, which will be held on November 7-8 in Santiago de Chile, Telefonica Building.
This annual event brings together people from academia, the private sector, civil society, the technical community, government and all interested parties to discuss the most relevant Internet Governance and digital policy issues in the region.
The 17th LACIGF promises to be a dynamic and innovative space, since for the first time a Workshop Selection Committee was elected and a call was opened to propose sessions for the Forum on the following topics, previously selected by the community:
In some spaces people will have the opportunity to choose between simultaneous sessions with different formats like workshops, round tables, panels, lightning sessions, among others. These changes are intended to promote diverse and constructive dialogue, in addition to generating proposals or solutions that influence policies and practices related to Internet Governance.
In-person or remote participation requires prior registration to guarantee the capacity of the event.
Participate and contribute to the construction of a regional Internet Governance agenda!
